Summer is in full swing and the heat index is rising. I’m so grateful for our a/c these days. It makes the heat and humidity more bearable and also sets the stage for relaxing afternoon reading time. What are you and your kids reading this summer?
In recent month’s we’ve enjoyed reading these:
- The Stepping Stones Series (starring Andi)
- Bessie’s Pillow (the story of a Lithuanian Immigrant girl in 1904)
- Christian Heroes Series from YWAM (specifically Corrie ten Boom and David Livingstone)
- Captain Absolutely (a graphic novel with a moral message for all ages)
Last week’s most viewed post was 10 Bible Verses for Someone Who’s Celebrating (or Struggling) from Guilty Chocoholic Mama – definitely worth a read during one of these summer days.
