Thunderstorms and pansies on my front porch, making vacation plans and having coffee with a friend, these are a few of my favorite things. Our weekly blog hop is another of my favorite things! Last week’s most viewed post last week’s link up was from Tea with Jennifer – I know you’ll enjoy this lovely visit to a summery Mother’s day on the otherside of the globe.

Again, it was hard to choose my features for this week but I finally settled on a few that will make summertime even better!
- Survive the Summer with these ideas from Dachelle at Hide The Chocolate.
- Add a touch of summer to your day with this tutorial for Applying Heat Transfer Vinyl to Flip Flops and other things.
- We are embarking on birthday season so I was glad to read the Tips for Photographing Children’s Parties by From Play Dates to Parties.
And Now, This Week’s Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!

Hi Linda,
I am humbled to see my post “Mothering” featured!
Thank you for hosting such a great community & link up opportunity,
Jennifer
I just can’t believe that summer’s almost here, can you? I hope you have a great weekend!
I know! This coming weekend has always been the kick-off for summer since I was a girl. Enjoy!
That is a great list of favorite things! i love sitting on the back patio reading a book and watching my boys paddle or splash around the lake.
Sounds like we enjoy similar things, Joanne 🙂 I also enjoyed time on the back patio, reading, but with a cup of coffee and my hubbie as company. If we had a lake, I’m sure our kids would be out in it!
Thank you for hosting! My offerings this week include an American Flag Rice Krispy Treat, a delicious Strawberry Poke Cake and. Patriotic Brownie in a Pretzel Crust with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. As always you are invited to my own parties! (Latest are shown on my home page). See you there.
you are very welcome, Marilyn 🙂 thank you for joining us this week! have a fabulous weekend!
Thank you so much for hosting!! I had a great time!
Blessings,
Amy
