This week we celebrated with our teen-aged son as he was hired for his first real-life job and our teen-aged daughter is taking steps toward independence by purchasing her very first car. I had the pleasure of seeing the new Little Women movie with my daughters and a sweet friend and then with two other dear friends toured the actual house where Louisa May Alcott wrote the book! We have play rehearsals starting up again and schooling to continue. Oh, my, life is full and wonderful and overwhelming all at the same time. Let’s celebrate and encourage one another while we venture through! Our most viewed post last week was It’s Mid-January and Homemade Thin Mints Will Save Us. (Don’t you love that title?!)
In preparation for the big game of Sunday, I’m featuring:
Ranch Pretzel Recipe because salty-crunchy-ranchy pretzels would be a great addition to our finger foods!
Retro Cheese Ball Duo because cheese makes everything better!
Crock Pot Crawfish Chowder because it makes me think of dear friends from Louisiana and I although I do not have crawfish on hand shrimp would be yummy too!
