This most wonderful time of the year often brings out the crazy in us. In an effort to keep myself sane and to build rather than tear down relationships in my family, I am taking my daily Bible study time to look at the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5. To help me focus in a little deeper, I’m using a wonderful study written by Katie Hornor called Putting on the Spirit: Ten Minute Devotions for Busy Moms.
These quick 10-minute lessons are jam-packed with attitude-changing content. I am loving that I can sit down quiet for just a bit to read and meditate to get up with a renewed heart, ready to tackle what lies ahead in my day.
This book is a one-month devotional Bible study on the fruit of the Spirit offering busy moms hope and a practical way to feed their souls in those short snatches of quiet time during their busy days. There is also a free companion workbook down- loadable on the Katie’s website.
Katie and her husband Tap have been missionaries in Mexico since 2007. They homeschool their four children and minister through church planting, Bible training, bookstore ministry, and homeschool curriculum development. Katie is a teacher at heart, and by trade, and loves to encourage women in their God-given roles through speaking, writing and blogging. She is the author of this and two other ebooks (at the date of this printing) as well as the Lemonhass homeschool curricu- lum for Spanish Speaking families. Katie blogs about marriage, motherhood, and ministry at ParadisePraises.com and she blogs about home education (in Spanish) at EducandoEnElHogar.com.
I know you will be encouraged by this study and Today Only the Kindle is FREE! and will be available the rest of this week for only 99cents. After you’ve downloaded your book you can get the companion workbook.
This is also available in Spanish and would make a fantastic gift to a missionary friend or for someone who’s first language is Spanish.
Don’t delay! Snatch up this little gem today and share with your friends – every mom will be encouraged by this book.
