August. What a month! Our family has made a cross-country move, enrolled two students into college classes (one class each, online, but still a huge milestone) and prepared for our 30th year of homeschooling. We are missing friends and life on the east coast but enjoying building a new life here in our new home. I’m thankful for familiar routine during times like these. I’ve missed the weekly dose of encouragement I receive from our Thursday blog hop, so let’s get to it! Last week’s most viewed post was Chicken Alfredo Lasagna.
This week I am featuring:
- How to Sew A Zippered Pouch because I am almost ready to bring out the sewing machine and begin projects for Christmas!
- Quarantine Schooling because no matter what our circumstance, these encouraging words will bring support and strength to our families.
- Mantle from The Cutting Garden because flowers are one of my love languages!

My goodness, you’ve had a full plate this month! I can relate to the move as we’ve moved 5 times in 10 years to different parts of the country. I’m sharing #26, Frugal Fall Mantel Decor. Welcome back and thanks for hosting!
