Do you give Valentine’s Day a thumbs up? or thumbs down? In our family it has traditionally been more about fun and treats for the kids (search for Valentine here on my blog and you’ll get a peek at some of the fun.) I have friends who do it all up romantic-like for their spouse or sweetheart. No one way is the right or the wrong way! I pray you feel loved and that you take time to love up on those around you. You’ll find plenty of ideas here at our blog hop this week! February Dinner Menu was last week’s most popular post.
The posts I chose to feature from last week’s party are all inspiration for Valentine’s Day:
- Heart-Shaped Pizza because pizza is one of family’s top love languages!
- Homemade Coffee Brownies because coffee and chocolate are two of my top love languages!
- Free Valentine Cards Printable (with mini envelopes) because homemade and frugal are also some of my love languages!
Enjoy the party this week at our Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!

I’ve always thought if you are comfortable with yourself than you can support and appreciate what your friends/family do/don’t do but not feel pressured or envy. I love holidays but how I enjoy them is often much quieter and relaxed than others and I’m good with that. I think its fun to hear different stories of how people celebrate. Some we’ve added to different holidays others just not us.
Thanks for hosting.
