Were you celebrating Thanksgiving last week with family and friends all around? Or was your day quiet with ordinary tasks to see to? Maybe Thursday last week was not Thanksgiving Day where you live. Me? We enjoyed a day of Thanksgiving and blessing with new friends, good food and sweet fellowship. That pretty much sums up our weekly gathering here at the Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop, doesn’t it? We enjoyed a quite day at home with a huge Thanksgiving dinner in the middle of the day. We had been working outside in the crisp New England air so the nice hot meal was just what we needed… and the thought of dessert helped us finish our job. We ended the night in front of the fire watching Christmas movies. It was quiet and perfect.
It does sound like the perfect day <3
