Are you loving winter, or looking forward to spring weather? I’m enjoying mild winter days here in the south, but still we are looking forward to spring gardening! We have our seeds, our planters, our soil. In our homeschool we are including a gardening and horticulture unit to motivate and inspire us. I love the ideas I’m gathering each week in our blog hop party every week! Last week’s most popular post was The Thrifty Six in Leather.
This week I am featuring:
- How to Use Watercress Greens because we will be planting spring greens!
- How to Give Your Gerberas a Second Lease on Life because daisies are my favorite and these make me smile!
- Grace & Gratitude #4 because I need daily reminders to bestow grace and show gratitude!
And Now, It’s Time for This Week’s Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!
Join your Encouraging Hearts & Home Co-Hosts each week for encouragement and support for your heart & your home. We hope to provide a space that builds each other up and lends a helping hand along the way. With all the negativity in the world, let’s shine a positive light!
Use the form below to share your family-friendly posts this week, and please consider these nice things you can do:
- Follow and/or subscribe to your host’s blog.
- Visit a few other bloggers and show them your support. We all love getting comments, and who knows what inspiration you may find? Be sure to share the love–that’s what a blog hop is all about!
- Check out our Encouraging Hearts & Home Pinterest board where each host pins her 10 favorite posts each week.
- Join us every Thursday!
- If you are interested in co-hosting, contact Linda at Apron Strings & Other Things!

Thank you so much for the feature! I am so flattered that my Thrifty Six in Leather post was the most popular! That just made my day!

Thanks so much for hosting! I’m linking up with TOP 10 POSTS OF 2020 AT GRAMMY’S GRID. I’m also hosting some link parties. Won’t you drop by and link up?
you are welcome Dee 🙂 I’ll pop over to your parties!
I love the idea of having a gardening section for homeschool! There is so much reward with planting seeds, and watching things grow from them and blossom. We’ve really been enjoying our veggie garden. It’s something special to go out, and pull what I need to make a salad to have for dinner.
I know we’re a little ways away, but please share your progress! I’d love to see.
We are having fun and learning a lot even in the planning phase, Alexandra. How wonderful to be able to bring your veggie harvest in as you prep for meals! I do hope to share more in coming months – I’ll keep you posted!
Thanks so much for continuing to host each week!! It is greatly appreciated!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Debbie
My pleasure, Debbie 🙂 Have a blessed day!
A homeschool garden is a nice idea! I always encouraged my children to plant seeds and watch them grow when they were young and they continue to enjoy gardening as adults and find it a stress reliever.
We are enjoying the planning, Pat, and looking forward to the harvest!
This is what I featured 1-18 to 1-22-2021. On Tuesday was Chili Dog Pizza. Wednesday was a Crescent Veggie Pizza. Thursday was my Taco Pizza . And Friday was Chicken Club Pizza. Enjoy!
Thanks for featuring my post on watercress-my favorite green.
