We have been riding an emotional roller coaster of emotions here lately. There have been some highs and some lows tucked in amongst our mudane, routine days. We have a brithday this week – how can 18 years pass by so quickly?! We celebrate new life as a young couple at church welcomes their firstborn and our 13th grandbaby made his appearance recently. He’s so perfect! We also find ourselves saying good bye as a neighbor’s life on earth is over, and while we watch dear friends caring for a loved one in his final days. Watching life come full circle, these lessons and conversations are so valuable for our children, for ourselves. And speaking of lessons, our most viewed post from last week was Movies and TV Shows for Teaching Middle School.
My features this week are:
This recipe for Seasoning Salt (aka Red Stuff) because homemade saves money, is easy and tasty too!
How to Make Beautiful, Easy Chinoiserie Easter Eggs because now that my children are older we enjoy new and creative ways to color our eggs every Easter.
When Jesus Didn’t Show Up because there are times when we doubt and need to hear the truth.
And Now, for This Week’s Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!
