Your response and interest recently when my daughter guest-posted, showing her frilly scarf tutorial was wonderful! Thank you! This girl of mine takes my life-long motto “Use It Up, Wear It Out, Make It Do, Do Without” to heart. She walked into the kitchen this morning, wearing the cutest earrings she had created spur of the moment. So, while I’m canning tomatoes today she has another DIY project to show you – Funky, Colorful Earrings.
Hello! I’m Esther. And today I’m going to show you how to make cool and funky earrings.
Things you’ll need,
- Slip the bracelet onto the hole on the earring wire.
- loop it up how ever many times you want, and VOILA!
There you have it. An easy, fun, inexpensive way to add accessories to every outfit.
- Β Cost: $.09Β (earring wires-$2.00/18pair; bracelets-a gift from a couple years ago I know longer wear)
- Time to Make: 5 minutes
What are you waiting for? Why not try this yourself!
Thank you Esther! These will make wonderful gifts, and you could easily make several to match every outfit in your wardrobe. You can see other ideas Esther and I have gathered on our Pinterest Crafting Board.
This post will be linked up at some of these wonderful places.

Great job. Keep being creative and sharing these ideas here. *smile* You all mentioned your pinterist site and I got hooked! Not that I had the time, but I enjoy that spot so much, I found a place for prining on fabric, so thank you. It’s something I have a hard time with but would like to do better. Thank you. Have a great week and I wish you all the best as you can tomatos. *smile* Sincerely, Mommy of two growing blessings & so much more!
Esther says “Thank you” π
The canning is a bit of work, but oh so worth the trouble! Love seeing the shelves filling up with beautiful bounty, waiting to be used throughout the coming months. Have a blessed week!
Tell Esther I hope her guest blogging is a regular feature. I love easy craft ideas. Making earrings is something I have been wanting to try! A friend of mine at Church is supposed to clean out her craft closet and gift me some ear wires and beads. Can’t wait.
Thank you Amanda π I’ll pass on your comment to her. She’s coming up with new versions almost daily. What a blessing to have a friend that will hand down supplies from her craft closet! I’ll want to hear all about it when you get crafting π
These are fantastic! My kids have a TON of those bracelets and never do anything with them but don’t want to get rid of them… yet! We could make a bunch of earrings as Christmas gifts for friends and family. Totally pinning this idea. Your daughter is very creative π
Hi Hilda! I’m so glad you like them – Christmas gifts are a great idea. She’s had lots of fun with these. Grownup girls are enjoying them as much as little girls π (I’ll pass your compliment on to my daughter)
I have to tell you how happy I am to see you π I found you in my spam folder – I had almost clicked the delete all spam button, but decided to do a quick scroll through. So glad I did or I would have missed you. You are approved now! Have a great week, my friend.
How fun! Thanks so much for linking up with me at #AThemedLinkup 15 for Crafts and DIY, open April 15 to 25. All entries shared on social media if share buttons installed.
