The perfect mom. Does she exist? Can I attain perfection? Why am I even trying? We’ll be addressing these questions during a Book Study I’ll be taking part in over at Marriage, Motherhood & Missions. Bridget, Mandy, Misty and I will be discussing No More Perfect Moms by Jill Savage beginning April 1st. You will not want to miss this! This book has been a jaw-dropping read for me and I know it will encourage and challenge you to be a ‘for real’ authentic mom, which is so much better than the mask-wearing-perfect mom we think we ought to be.
That isn’t the only exciting news I have for you. Beginning today I will be joining the Hearts for Home Blog Hop team! The Hearts for Home Blog Hop is held weekly beginning every Thursday morning. The theme for this blog hop is having a heart for our homes. You can link up post topics such as: homeschooling, marriage, parenting, homemaking, faith, budgeting, crafts, DIY projects and more! All posts must be family friendly. Each week I will feature the most popular post from the week before and beginning next week I’ll share some of my own favorites!
This activity from Our 4 Kiddos was the most viewed post from last week. I love how this mom shared the full historical story of St. Patrick, complete with Gospel lessons and made it fun while celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.
Now on to this week’s blog hop! Enter your family friendly post on any topic that encourages us to have a heart for our home.
