Last week my daughter Esther began a weekly series, Once A Week Hairstyles, highlighting the hairstyles she wears. Her hair is long and thick and gorgeous (credit goes to God, not me!) and she enjoys variety and trying out new ideas. She will be sharing these ideas with you, along with some quick and easy options throughout the upcoming weeks.
Here is the second hair post. Ponytails are easy and quick, but they are a little boring. Here are a couple different ways that you can change it.
This is a plain pony tail,
You can put a ribbon in it,
Or do a flip through.
First make a ponytail, then flip the ponytail through the hair above the hair band.
And there it is!
Hope this was helpful to you!
P.S. Mom says a Flexi Clip from Lilla Rose would set this flip-through ponytail off beautifully!

Thank you Esther! I too love the fliptail, and for whatever reason, it has just been awhile since I thought about doing that. I have an open house to go to today, and I think that is the style I shall choose. A dear friend is turning 60, and the event is partially outdoors, and I think there will be lots of outdoor game playing, so that style will be fantastic!
Thank you for your comment! I’m glad you found it helpful.
Esther.
Esther your hair is beautiful! So thick and lovely. I agree with mom about the flexi clip.
Thank you.
I love adding ribbons or hairclips with flowers on them to brighten up a ponytail!
I do too.
My girls are always playing with their hair to! I love the flip through look!
