Nothing says “I love you like a tomato” . . .
especially when hubby does the slicing.
I was home with sick ones Sunday morning, and 2 extras as well (we were blessed with the privilege of keeping 2 of our grandchildren for the weekend). Between fever checks and tissue replenishing I did manage to get the meat in the crockpot and the potatoes on to boil for our Sunday dinner. When the rest of the crew arrived after Sunday morning services, they all pitched in to help get our meal on the table.
Mike volunteered to slice up tomatoes – oh yes! garden fresh tomatoes! – and do you see what he left behind for me? What a man! Don’t need any daisy petals to tell me “He Loves Me.”
This was my “Day Brightener”. Has someone or something brightened your day? Do share, I’d love to hear!
Linking up at these wonderful places.

Now that is just too sweet and pretty darn cute as well! π
π thank you for the smile, Debra!
When our children stop their play just to tell me they love me or when they make a speical picture just for me. They do a lot of pictures for play or eachother so making one for me is special to me. *smile* It was fun to see another way for your beloved husband to show his love for you. Have a lovely day. Sincerely, Mommy of two growing blessings & so much more!
Works of art from my children most definitely brightens my day! My 7yo daughter brought in a hand-picked bouquet to me this afternoon. A tomato yesterday, flowers today, my days are bright and I’m very blessed. Thank you for your sweet comment π
Mrs Sears! I didn’t know you had such a gourgeous blog! What a wonderful find!!
Hi Nikki π You found me! Thank you, dear. I hope you are blessed by your time here, and I hope you stop in often. Let’s keep in touch, ok? Kiss those babies for me!

π Thank you for stopping by and enjoying my little gift. Have a blessed day!
What a wonderful gift — and so thoughtful — makes it even better! My granddaughter brightened my day Friday when she bowed said “I love you Mommy, I love you Daddy, I love you Grandma” after her Tai Kwon Do belt test. They usually do that to their parents — and I got included! I may still be beaming!
awww, what a special moment π you have a very special connection with your granddaughter. How blessed you are! Thank you for stopping by and enjoying my little gift, Kc!
Very sweet.
I do hope your little ones are feeling better.
