Our son and his family will be leaving the big city, crossing over the river and passing through the woods to arrive here in time to celebrate Thanksgiving. Our daughters and their families, my Dad and sisters and some of their families will be joining us also. At last count, we’ll have 31 around our Thanksgiving Table this weekend.
God has blessed us abundantly with our 8 children and now their families are growing. All five of our grandchildren will be here. Yay! I’ll be getting lots of Grandma-loving-and-hugging time in over the next few days. I am going to love them and squeeze them and kiss them and hug them and get down on the floor and wrestle with them and snuggle up and read stories with them. It’s going to be so much fun!
Oh, yes, and between-times we’ll get a big turkey dinner on the table and catch up on all the family news. What activities and traditions will your family be enjoying this weekend?

5 of our 7 children were here for Thanksgiving. Two grandchildren were here too but I get to hug them everyday for most of this past year. That won’t always be the case but while they are here I have found it to be such a blessing.

Sounds like a wonderful Thanksgiving, Judith. It isn’t often we have all our children and grandchildren in the same place at the same time and I’m doing my best to soak it up and enjoy it when it does happen. Have a blessed week and enjoy those grandchildren!
