Moving AND Homeschooling. Is it possible? Sure it is! It didn’t take long for our family to realize that homeschooling was not just an educational choice but a journey and a lifestyle. In our first eight years of homeschooling we moved seven times. Most of those moves were from one state to another, sometimes halfway across the country.

In the midst of a move there is always extra work, plenty of chaos, and overwhelming issues to deal with. But our children’s schooling situation was the one constant thing in our lives. A year and a half ago our family once again made a cross-country move. From past experience I knew we would survive, and even thrive, but I also knew there would be challenges and once again, I was grateful for our homeschooling lifestyle during our time of transitioning to a new home and community. Today I’m sharing some of my tips about how to succeed at homeschooling while making a move over at the Homeschool Review Crew site. I hope you’ll join me there!

I’m rather thankful I’ve never needed a post like this; though I often fantasize about moving the actual act of packing and moving holds no appeal. LOL.
