Following two days of rainy dreary weather, I wake to bright sunshine, warming the chill from a cold night, giving the promise of a new and glorious day. A day with no mistakes in it yet, a day full of promises and undiscovered treasures. Or maybe it will bring a mundane, uneventful day after a busy and tiring week. Whatever the day holds, it is a gift from God, and it is my choice how I will view it – full of treasure and blessing or a burden weighing on my shoulders. Today I am choosing to find the treasures and blessings and rejoice in them leaving the burden of difficult things to the Lord.

Such a good post and reminder, Linda! The Lord is faithful to show His goodness in so many ways, and we really just need to choose to see those. Thank you for this great reminder, that I can choose to see the day as it is, a gift from God, and let Him carry the weight of the burdens. Blessings!
