“How do I train good habits into my children?” “How do I get them to do what they are supposed to do?” I started this adventure of motherhood almost 3 decades ago, and I still don’t have all the answers to questions like this. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed. I’m still learning and growing myself. You’ll find me at Paradise Praises today, sharing some ideas on training good habits into our children. You can read about how creating a routine in our days, giving our children opportunity for repetition, allowing them to take on responsibility for their actions, and reinforcing good behavior helps when it comes to training good habits into them. I hope you’ll come over to join me and read the whole article.

I agree with your tips! I need to work on my own bad habit of knowing what needs to be done but not getting started on it!

I know just what you mean, Sylvia! So often it’s my own bad habits staring me in the face when I’m looking at out my children. Funny how God uses our offspring to teach us lessons we need to learn, isn’t it?
