It’s Thursday! We are more than halfway through November and have so much for which to be thankful.

My featured posts this week focus on the Thanksgiving holiday coming up. It’s one of my favorite gatherings. Thanksgiving Day has been a most-important day in my family ever since I can remember. Memories of traveling to Grandma’s, the heavenly smells of sage dressing wafting from her kitchen, aunts uncles and cousins crowded around the dinner table.
I think I’ll be able to find room for the ideas in these posts as my family gathers at our home again this year. Maybe you’ll find room in your own family’s Thanksgiving celebration.

We serve Thanksgiving Dinner mid-afternoon at our house, so an appetizer buffet is laid out just before noon to take help curb those hunger pangs. I’ll be adding these Popular Party Appetizers from The Crazy Organized Blog to the spread this year!

I may be adding this Write Your Own Thanksgiving Psalm activity to our lessons next week. It may be the only schooling we get done while getting ready for our Thanksgiving guests!
