With a couple months left in our school year, and a new year yet to plan, last week’s most viewed post – Ultimate List of Free Homeschool Curriculum from Homeschool Base – showed up at the perfect time. There are several sites and resources I am familiar with, but there are many that are entirely new to me and I am looking forward to learning more.
My featured posts this week are:
- Start Where I Am. Use What I Have. This article from Michele Morin tells us about facing life head on – sharing memories – celebrating milestones. It’s all about how we mothers live our days.
- I can relate to these thoughts on The Cure for the Discouraged Homeschool Mom from Sara at A Mama’s Story. The highs of my homeschooling journey definitely outweigh the lows, but I’ve had my fair share of discouraging times and having friends share things like this always bolster me.
- And then, to make everything better – Coffee. This Salted Caramel Irish Coffee recipe from Busy Being Jennifer is just the thing for this weekend don’t you think?
And Now, This Week’s Blog Hop . . .

Awww, thanks so much for featuring my post on encouraging homeschooling moms. That made my morning.
🙂 so happy to get your day off to a good start, Sara! Thank you for the encouragement you offer all of us. Blessings to you and your family!
