There are times I feel the technology age creeps into our daily lives much too easily. But when it allows me to see photos of our brand new granddaughter and talk face-to-face-like with our son and daughter-in-law, I’m thankful. Another perk of living in these times, we can have a whole library of books at our fingertips without leaving home. The most-viewed post in last week’s Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop was Kindle Freebies from Women Abiding. Digital books make schooling and researching and traveling so much nicer!
I enjoy visiting all the posts each week, and it is not easy choosing which to feature for you, so I decided on a little variety this week.
This article titled Learning to Breathe in a New Season by Naomi at What Joy is Mine really spoke to my heart. It seems my season of life right now is one of adjustment, transition and change. These all bring growth but it isn’t always easy.
A Round Up of Donuts (or Doughnuts?) for you, because, well, I love a good doughnut. We now live in Dunkin’ DonutLand where I can stop to pick up my favorite flavor any time I like. I don’t but I could! There’s also something satisfying about making them yourself, too.
I loved this post full of activities about Queen Esther from Syncopated Mama. (Did you know we have a Queen Esther of our own?)
Which posts were your favorites? Did you find encouragement for your heart and your home?
And Now . . . This Week’s Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!!!
