Hair, Hair, It’s Everywhere! Some have a little, we have a lot!
The ladies in this family all have hair below shoulder length (to keep our men happy, y’know). With long, thick hair it can be a challenge to keep it up and out of the way and still beautiful, while being comfortable at the same time.
Over the past year or so I’ve hearing great things about a company called Lilla Rose, who makes these beautiful hair accessories called Flexi Clips. Ladies I know were telling me these clips hold hair, a little or a lot, thick or thin, wavy or straight, all day without headaches or slippage. So, when I was given the opportunity to try one out for myself, I said ‘Yes, please!’.
{UPDATE: Great things came from this little giveaway. I not only became a huge fan of these clips, I signed up as a Lilla Rose Independent Consultant! And now Amanda is a dear friend and a blogger as well. You can find Amanda blogging at Busy Mama 911 and I invite you to stop in at my Lilla Rose website}
My Independent Lilla Rose Consultant Amanda Smith sent a clip of my choice and I am beyond thrilled! In these photos you can see me with an updo using my Hawaiian (medium) Lilla Rose Flexi Clip, and Bekah with a quick-take french twist. The same clip worked equally well in my thick hair and her baby fine hair (although she’s going to need an extra-small to pull up a ponytail). It took me only seconds. Amazing!
Last week we had fun with Esther (12 yrs old) – brushing and twisting and braiding her very thick and quite long locks. All these hairstyles (plus a few more) were done up in a matter of minutes. With only a little practice, she’s getting her hair up on her head and the flexi clip fastened all on her own. She’s already picked out a large clip so she can pull it all up in this hot weather.
There are dozens of styles available in 7 different sizes, and other beautiful hair jewelry as well. You can view a video HEREΒ to determine which size would work best for you, as well as suggestions for styling. I’m very impressed with the quality of our clip, the adaptability to our different hair types and the variety of styles we can fix up ourselves. It’s patented one-piece design uses music wire and assures the beads will not come off.
You, too, can adorn your hair with style and comfort. Amanda has graciously agreed to send one of my readers a Flexi Clip of their choice ($16 value or less). Isn’t she wonderful?! All you have to do is enter your information in the Rafflecopter window below, and follow the instructions. So simple. This contest will run this week through Sunday, July 14 at midnight (Central Time). ~This Giveaway Has Ended~
Or, if you just can’t wait, and would like to own a flexi clip all your own right away, hop on over to Amanda’s Lilla Rose site and put your order in today. You will also find information about business opportunities by clicking here. (I hear this is an amazing company to work with.) Linda, I am so pleased that you ladies are enjoying your Flexi Clip! They are amazing, and I just love sharing them with others! GOOD LUCK to everyone who enters!!! If you have any questions, let me know!
I was set up beside a lady, at a vendor show, who was selling these. I kept hearing her do her pitch and watching her demo on different ladies. I never made it over, but these look really neat. If I win I would like the Medium Scrollwork Heart for my daughter.
I have very long thick hair and I would love to have one of the extra large clips (probably Hawaiian) to pull my hair up. I have a hard time finding anything that holds all my hair up for long.
These are so neat! Thanks for the giveaway!
I found your blog thru Amanda and it’s just the sort of thing I like to read. I would like to win a small size floral design with gold and copper.
I love Lila Rose hair clips! I was introduced to them several years ago by a friend who since has moved away and no longer sells them. My hair hits a little lower than mid back and these clips are great for holding an updo all day long comfortably. I would love to get my hands on more, because they are so pretty!
I would love one of these to pull my hair up during these warm summer months!
WOW!! Those are neat! This would help me for shooting weddings, because having an updo all day, DOES give me a headache! If I won I would love the Flexi Small Simple Dangle π Thanks for the giveaway Linda!

Ladies with fine hair love Flexi Clips because they do stay in. Just watch the sizing guide and choose accordingly. You would probably need the mini or extra small. The exchange and return policy is no hassle, so you can try one without worrying you will get stuck with something that doesn’t work. Also my thin haired customers rave about the bobby pins. They have a super tight grip.
I’m sorry, I forgot to say that I would like to have an extra small Roman Stone Black Nickel.
Thanks
I would love the medium Celtic cross flexi
