Special Encouragement from Special Ladies + HFH Blog Hop

Each month I have the pleasure of contributing an article or two over at Marriage, Motherhood & Missions. The ladies there have a heart for encouraging women in their walks as wives, mothers and whatever mission God has given them for their lives. My co-contributors are amazingly talented women and some of them have contributed to my Blogiversary party this week – The ‘gift basket’ in today’s giveaway will include some wonderful ebooks and resources they’ve created.

Rosilind from Missional Call  and  A Little R & R will send the winner her ebook Live Worship which takes a look at making our whole lives a worship to the Lord. Misty from Beautiful Ashes will be sending Dear Wife: Letters from a Help Meet, which encourages women in the emotional ups and downs of marriage. Mandy from Women of Worship has created lovely journaling pages for personal Bible study and sermon notes. Bridget from Becoming a Godly Wife has given us a wonderful verse by verse study of the Proverbs 31 Woman. See what I mean about encouraging words?

My encouraging word for the day would be my favorite scripture: …weeping endureth but for a night, joy cometh in the morning. Psalm 30:5 It is so easy to get lost in our tears. BUT joy always comes! All we have to do is look around our church family. Somebody has been through and overcame what we are going through. They made it and so will we!
